COLLAGE KIT: DARK CORNERS

13th January, 2020

by Lauryn Costik

In the process of collecting imagery for this collage kit, I used vintage magazines to create a modern-day garden of eden. Symbols of temptation and decadence, femininity and desire, made their way into my artwork. The more I spend alone, the more I have the space to contemplate these dark but intriguing corners of human existence, which I see as sources of creativity and self-awareness. When you're done making your artwork, send a photo or scan of it to hello@nearnessproject.com
