COLLAGE KIT: EMBRACING ALL SIDES OF THE EXPERIENCE
April 22nd, 2020
by Frasie Molina
I made this collage kit to share my best self-care secrets with you: mindfulness and yoga. Most of us are dealing with anxiety right now, which is normal. I have cystic fibrosis, so social distancing, sanitizing, and wearing masks is my everyday life. I know how hard staying away from people can be, and how scary unknowns are. These are hard times, and there is a lot of pressure on all of us. We have to try feel good, but also accept our vulnerability. Being present means embracing all sides of the experience: your pain, your joy, your fear, and being kind to yourself. The most important thing is to honor yourself. I hope you'll find some peace using my images and doodles.
We recommend printing these out pages out so you can do some arts and crafts by using good old-fashioned scissors and glue. When you're done, send a photo or a scan of your artwork to hello@nearnessproject.com or post it on Instagram and tag us @nearnessproject. Happy collaging!
