COLLAGE KIT: MOVING FORWARD
6th January 2020
by Frasie Molina
Sometimes I feel like I can't live comfortably in the present because of all the memories and old relationships I hold in my mind. Three years ago I decided to start a new personal tradition: writing an annual letter to my past. In it, I release the pain of old wounds, past relationships and negative illusions. The process of moving forward isn't easy, but it's an option available to all of us. Here I've prepared a letter template with some cute stickers which remind me of some of the things I used to have in my teenage bedroom. When writing your letter, don't filter or judge yourself, especially considering all that has happened this year. When you're done, send your artwork and leters to hello@nearnessproject.com. Happy collaging!
